Why you should use images in your

online marketing

The exponential rise in popularity of communicating online over the past year has afforded businesses a rare opportunity. No, it’s not the ability to make sales in your pjs, though that’s pretty great! It’s the ability to be in constant contact with existing and potential customers.

many online images

Of course, it’s not flawless. Much of the personal connection is lost. Certain elements of your offering don’t translate and the internet is a noisy place.

You can rise above all of that though!

Remember, online communications allow you to;

Deliver more information and as often as you like across the entire day and week.

Choose a medium that suits your brand and offering best. The options are many.

Reach your target audience if you focus your attentions on the platforms that they frequent.

And most of all….

using images in online marketing

You can capitalise on the strongest element of online communications and information retention, images!

Using images in online marketing

When people hear information they remember only 10% of it 3 days later. However, if a relevant image is paired with that same information people retained 65% of it 3 days later.

So, whether you are creating social media posts, newsletters, webinars, courses or presentations don’t forget to include relevant, on brand images. Not only will you hold your customers’ attention, they’ll remember what you’ve shared above your competitor who isn’t applying the principle. All this helps to create a relationship with your customer that is equivalent in effectiveness to the in person experience with you and your business. Consider each digital communication the same way you would a networking event or in store meeting with your clients. If you are using images in your online marketing you will ensure the online encounters with you are as memorable as the in person ones.
