I don’t know about you but for me September has always felt more like the start of a new year than January. Perhaps it’s a throwback to the smell of new textbooks and the sparkling white pages of new copies for school. To me, September is a chance to reset, restart and refresh.
With that in mind here are three simple ways to shrug off the lazy days of Summer and freshen up your interior decor with art for the new season
Tales of the Unexpected
Add an artwork to an unusual spot in the house, like the bathroom or even the under stairs storage cupboard. Somewhere you use every day, where it will bring a smile to your face
Kitchen Conversation
Choose a photo, print or painting that reminds you of warm Summer days to the kitchen to brighten the dark mornings and short evenings
Creative Kiddies
Before the long days are over and the school routine kicks in, do an art project with the kids and display their work in their room’s as a memory of Summer For inspiration check out this previous post
