WHAT’S THE BIG IDEA?

Well, I’m glad you asked! In the coming months 2020 will enter its tenth year in business and over those ten years I have listened to visitors and clients about their wants and needs, developing the business to answer those needs. So much has changed in the way we interact with each other, with information and with art in the ten years since I opened my doors but two things remain the same. One is the goal of 2020, to assist both artists and art lovers to include art in their lives, and the other are the stumbling blocks that both artists and art lovers experience in doing just that.

So, to start the new decade 2020 is growing from its traditional art gallery roots where artists exhibited artwork for art lovers to purchase to a resource from which everyone can come to get answers to any question or solve any query on the business of art!

2020 will now be known as 2020 Curates, Art Consultancy. It will provide career coaching for artists looking to navigate the world of getting their art on exhibition for sale AND it will provide guidance services for anyone looking to add and display visual art to their home or office. It’s all about getting visual art of all kinds on the walls of those who will enjoy it to its fullest!

What services DON’T you offer?

2020 no longer sells artwork directly from its base on the North Mall in Cork but I can assist you to source artwork.

 I don’t offer art valuations but I can recommend resources for that service.
